The equipment ID is only displayed if your version of Pinnacle has the "Show Equipment ID" flag turned on in the Pinnacle.INI file.
Asset Barcode - This is the barcode number of the asset that the template is for. If the Template is for maintenance on an Equipment asset, you can select a barcode number for the Equipment asset.
Asset Number - This is the asset number of the equipment asset that the template is for. This field is automatically filled in by the system if you select an equipment ID or an Asset Barcode. You cannot edit the asset number.
Asset Title - This is the type and description of the equipment asset. This field is automatically filled in by Pinnacle, and cannot be edited.

Estimated Duration - This is the estimated number of hours required to complete a work order generated from this template.
Template User Status - This is the user defined status for the work orders raised from the template. You can select a status from the list of statuses that have been set up in the MWA Status Codes table. For example, statuses might be "Awaiting Funding", "Deferred" and "Under Tender".

Description - This is the description or details of the work to be carried out by work orders raised from the template. If you need to enter a longer description than can be seen on the Details tab, there is an Extension button (...) next to the field. If you click on this button, Pinnacle will display a window that will allow you to type in a much longer description. When you close the window, as much of the description as possible will be displayed on the Details tab.
Recurrence - This indicates whether the template is a cyclic (repetitive) template, which means that work orders are generated from the template at regular intervals, or whether the template is a one-off template, which means that only one work order will be generated from the template.
Original Date - This is for one-off templates only. This is the original start date for the template. If the start date is changed, the original date will remain set to the original start date. If you need to postpone the generation of one-off templates you can use this field to record the date that the template was originally planned to be generated.
Scheduled Date - This is for one-off templates only. This is the date that the one-off template is due to be generated. As one-off templates don't have a schedule as such (because they only occur once), you are able to edit the date that the schedule will generate from the Details Tab rather than on the Schedule Tab, as for cyclic templates.
Date Based - This is for repetitive (cyclic) templates only. This indicates whether work orders will be generated from the template based on dates. A template can be date based as well as value based.
Frequency - You can only select a frequency if the template is a repetitive (cyclic) date-based template. This is the frequency at which you want work orders to be generated from the template. You must select a frequency from the frequencies that have been set up in the Frequency table. If you change the frequency, Pinnacle will ask if you want to recalculate the maintenance schedule for the template.
Lead Time - You can only select a lead time if the template is a repetitive (cyclic) date-based template. This is the number of days before the next due date that the work order is to be generated. This will default to the Default Lead Time in the Work Order Module Defaults, but you can change this if you wish.
Start Date - You can only edit the start date if the template is a repetitive (cyclic) date-based template. This is the first date that a work order generated from the template is due. When you add a new template, this will default to the current date, but you can overwrite this if you wish. If you change the start date, Pinnacle will ask if you want to recalculate the maintenance schedule for the template.
End Date - You can only enter an end date if the template is a repetitive (cyclic) date-based template, and if this is the case, you must enter an end date. This is the last date that a work order will be generated from the template. If you change the end date, Pinnacle will ask if you want to recalculate the maintenance schedule for the template.
Value Based - This is for repetitive (cyclic) templates only. This indicates whether work orders will be generated from the template based on certain values of an attribute for the template. A template can be value based as well as date based.
Attribute - You can only select a dynamic attribute if the template is a repetitive (cyclic) value-based template. This is the dynamic attribute that you want to use to trigger work order generation for this template.
Rating Equals - You can only enter a rating if the template is a repetitive (cyclic) value-based template, and the dynamic attribute selected to trigger work order generation has the measurement type of "Pre-defined". If the latest value for the specified dynamic attribute for the asset or location associated with the template records the pre-defined value specified by this field, then the work order generation will be triggered.
Measurement outside of X and Y - You can only enter measurement parameters if the template is a repetitive (cyclic) value-based template, and the dynamic attribute selected to trigger work order generation has the measurement type of "Numeric". If the latest value for the specified dynamic attribute for the asset or location associated with the template falls outside the measurement range specified, then the work order generation will be triggered.
Counter reading every X - You can only enter a counter reading if the template is a repetitive (cyclic) value-based template, and the dynamic attribute selected to trigger work order generation has the measurement type of "Counter". If the latest value for the specified dynamic attribute for the asset or location associated with the template has increased by a multiple of X since the last reading, or is within the Variance amount less, then the work order generation will be triggered.
Variance - You can only enter a variance if the template is a repetitive (cyclic) value-based template, and the dynamic attribute selected to trigger work order generation has the measurement type of "Counter". The variance is the tolerated difference in the attribute value reading for the Counter field. When you enter a variance (Y), Pinnacle will automatically calculate and display the variance as a percentage of the Counter Reading field.
Last Generated - This is the date that the most recent work order was generated from the template. This will be blank if no work orders have been generated from this template. This field is set by Pinnacle, and cannot be edited.
MWA No - This is the most recently due work order that was generated from the template. This field is set by Pinnacle, and cannot be edited.
