Once you have defined the ledger components, you then need to define ledger components, or combinations thereof, as budget codes. Budget Codes are used by other aspects of Pinnacle to gather expenditure amounts.
Pinnacle includes a default Value Added Tax budget code into the ledger. This allows you to record your value added tax postings to this budget code.
