The Estimated Labour tab lists the skills and the amount of time that you estimate will be required to complete the tasks for the work orders that will be generated from the template. The estimated skills and the estimated times are used to forecast the labour costs for the work order.
The following information is available on the Estimated Labour tab:
Rate Type - This is the rate type that you want to use when calculating the estimated cost for the skill. You must choose a rate type from the list of rate types that have been defined in the Rate Types table.
Task Number - This is the task number that you want to assign a skill to. You can select a task from the list of tasks that have been defined for the template. You can select the same task more than once if the task requires multiple skills to complete it.
Skill Code - This is the skill code that is required to complete the selected task. You can select a skill from the skills that have been defined in the Skills table.
Skill Description - This is the description of the skill required to complete the task. If you select a skill from the skills table, Pinnacle will automatically fill in the skill description, but you can edit the description if you wish. You must enter a skill description. If the description is too long to view in the field, you can double click on the description to display it in a pop up window.
Contract - This indicates whether the skill is a contract skill, or an in-house skill. If a contract has been selected for the template, this will default to Contract. If no contract has been selected, this will default to In House.
Estimated Hours - This is the estimated number of hours that this skill is required to complete this task. If you change the Estimated Hours for a skill, Pinnacle will ask if you wish to recalculate the Estimated Cost.
Estimated Cost - This is the estimated cost for this skill for this task. The Estimated Cost is calculated as the selected rate for the skill multiplied by the estimated hours.
