Licences Table

Licences are legal permissions for certain restricted activities or events to be carried out in conjunction with a lease.  For example, a licence could be for the serving of alcohol, or permission to hold live music events. Licences can be granted independently to an organisation, or licences can be granted to a specific property.  If a licence is associated with a specific property, it will not be displayed in the Licences Table.

The Licences table allows you to specify details of licences that can be associated with leases.  Licences that are added to the Licences table can be associated with more than one lease, as long as the dates that the licence is attached to the leases do not overlap.

The Licences table has two tabs for recording and displaying information about a licence. The tabs are: Browse, and Details.

Browse Tab

The Browse tab is a list of the licences that have been added to the table. You can filter the browse list of licences in the same way as you filter a regular browse window.

Details Tab

The Details tab shows the detailed information that you can record about each licence. The fields available on the Details tab are:

Licence Number - The licence number that identifies this licence.  You must enter a licence number, and the licence number must be unique.

Organisation Name - The name of the organisation that holds the licence.  You must enter an organisation name.

Licence Conditions - A description of any specific conditions that apply to the licence.

Licence Amount - The cost of the licence, if there is any.

Start Date - The commencement date of the licence.  You must enter a start date for the licence.

Expiry Date - The date that the licence expires.  You must enter an expiry date for the licence.
