Once the term of the lease has concluded, and no further activity is required for the lease, you can choose to terminate the lease. You can set the termination date of the lease at any time during the life of the lease, however the status of the lease will not change to Terminated until the current date has passed the lease termination date.
Run the Leasing Module.
Open the Lease Window for the lease you want to terminate.
Choose Terminate from the Leasing menu
OR
Choose Terminate from the popup menu.
Pinnacle will display a dialog box where you can select the termination date. Once a lease has been terminated, it cannot be re-instated. If you select a termination date in the future, the status of the lease will remain Active until the termination date has passed.
If the termination date is prior to the current date, Pinnacle will change the status of the lease to Terminated.
