After a lease has been set up and all the terms of the lease have been agreed to, you can choose to Activate the lease. A lease must have at least one tenancy added to the lease before it can be activated, and all tenancies must be valid before the lease can be activated.
Run the Leasing Module.
Open the Lease Window for the lease you want to activate.
Choose Activate from the Leasing menu
OR
Choose Activate from the popup menu.
Pinnacle will check that the lease can be activated. If there is any reason that a lease cannot be activated, an error message will be displayed to explain the reasons.
Pinnacle will change the status of the lease to Active, and will set the Activate Date for the lease to the current date.
