The Schedule tab shows the dates that work orders are due to be generated. The Schedule tab only caters for "passive" scheduling. This means that for a given template, the date on which work order will be generated is always set at a fixed period after the last work order was generated. The system does not cater for events such as public holidays and weekends, nor does it take into account such factors as staff workloads.
When you save a new template, Pinnacle will create the template schedule for you using the start date, lead time, and frequency that you have selected on the Template Details tab.
The Schedule tab displays the proposed maintenance schedule, and allows this schedule to be modified. The maintenance schedule displays the dates on which work orders are due to be generated. These dates can be modified to suit your own needs. The system will then recalculate the date on which the work order needs to be created.
When a work order has been generated from the schedule item, you can no longer edit any details for the schedule item. Similarly, once a schedule item has been included in a work package, you can no longer edit details for the schedule item.
The following information is displayed on the Schedule tab:
Date Due - This is the date that the work order is due to be completed.
Lead Time - This is the number of days before the work order due date that the template is to generate the work order. This automatically defaults to the lead time from the Template Details tab.
Create On - This is the date that the work order is due to be generated on. This date is calculated as the Date Due minus the lead time. The Create On date is calculated by Pinnacle, and cannot be edited. If the Create On date is displayed in red, then the Create On date has passed, but no work order has been created. This means that the work order is overdue for creation.
Work Package Name - This is the name of the work package that this schedule item is included in. This is automatically filled in by Pinnacle, and cannot be edited.
Generated MWA - This is the work order number of the work order that was generated for the schedule item. This is automatically filled in by Pinnacle, and cannot be edited.
