Work Packages allow you to group together Planned Maintenance Templates to allow you to forecast the cost of a collection of work orders that have not yet been carried out. You can then use the work packages to gather quotes for sub-contracting various maintenance work for your organisation, or compare the estimated costs of expected work orders against the projected budget for the work.
Once funding for a work package has been approved, you can then automatically create work orders from the templates linked to a work package.
