When the loanee requires the assets, the loan items are picked up. When the loan pickup occurs, all the active reservation items are picked up at the same time. You cannot pick up some items and not others if they are all together on the one loan.
Run the Asset module and open the Loans window.
Select any reservation item for the loan you wish to pick up.
Select Pickup from the File menu

Click the Pickup toolbar button
Pinnacle will display a dialog box where you can type in the pick up date and time for the loan. The date and time will default to the current date and time, but you can edit this.
If the loan pickup date is before the original pickup date for the loan, Pinnacle will ask if you want to recalculate the costs for the loan.
If the loan pickup date is after the original end date for the loan, Pinnacle will prompt you to enter a new end date and time for the loan.
Click the OK button.
Pinnacle will prompt you to print the Loan Receipt form. This form contains all the details of the loan, and should be signed by the loanee to indicate that they are receiving all the items on the loan, and that they are responsible for the items while the loan is active. Choose whether you want to print the loan comments on the Loan Receipt form.
Click the OK button.
Pinnacle will print the Loan Receipt form. The status of all the reservation items for the loan will be changed from Reserved to On Loan. The status of all assets that have been loaned will be changed to On Loan.
If any assets that were reserved for the loan have been finalised, issued, or are out for repair at the time of pick up, then the pick up cannot be completed. All assets for the reservation must have a status of New, In Store, or To Be Traded In before the asset can be loaned.
The system will print the Loan Receipt form which lists the items for the reservation, and the start and finish time for the loan.
