When carrying out the asset stocktake process, you must transfer information to the Personal Data Assistant (PDA).
Run the Asset Module.
Choose Download Data>Stocktake from the Interface menu.
Pinnacle will display a window listing the assets that you can download to the PDA. You can apply a filter to the list of assets if you want to limit the list of assets to select from.
Condition ratings are always included in the download of stocktake data.
You can include components, include all locations or refresh lookup tables in the download of stocktake data.
Highlight the assets that you wish to download to the PDA. Use the Select All button to choose all the assets in the list. When you have selected your assets, click the Download button.
Pinnacle will prepare the asset information for download to the PDA.
Pinnacle will display a message asking if you want to prepare the download file for synchronisation with the PDA. Click Yes.
Pinnacle will confirm that the download file is ready for synchronisation. Click the OK button.
You can now synchronise the PDA with your computer. The asset information that you selected will be transmitted to the PDA. See your PDA manual for information on how to synchronise a PDA with a computer.
Click the Close button to close the Asset Stocktake Download window.
