The Tasks tab lists in detail the work that needs to be carried out for the work order. The tasks are individual items of work that together make up the work required to complete the work order.
Tasks can only be added when a work order is outstanding. Once a work order has been finalised or cancelled, tasks can no longer be added.
The fields on the Tasks tab are:
Task Number - This is the task number for the task. When tasks are added, Pinnacle will automatically number the tasks sequentially. This field cannot be edited.
Dependency - This is the task number that must be completed before the current task can be carried out. This number must be less that the current task number, but can be left blank if this task is not dependant on other tasks.
Predefined - If the task has been set up in your list of predefined tasks, you can choose the task from that list.
Description - This is a description of the task to be carried out.
Completed - This is the date that the task was completed. You can only edit this field when the status of the work order is "In Progress" or "Work Completed". If this field is left empty, it will automatically be updated when the work order is completed or finalised.
