Printing a Work Order

You may want to print a physical copy of the work order. You can choose whether to print just the work order, or whether you want to print the work order and include its comments, data sheets, attachments, or permits.

When you are printing a work order from any of the browse lists (Backlog, History or Overdue), you can print more than one work order at a time, by highlighting all the work orders that you wish to print in the browse window.

To print a work order from the Work Order Backlog Browse Window:

  1. Open the Work Order Backlog Browse Window

  2. Highlight the work order or orders you wish to print.

  3. Select Print from the Backlog menu

    OR

    Choose Print from the popup menu

    OR

    Click the Print toolbar button.

  4. Pinnacle will display the Print Options window for the work order. You can choose whether to also print the Comments, Data Sheets, Attachments, Permits or Second Page of the work order. If the MWA doesn't have any of these, the option to print them will be disabled. If you have the "Print MWA Attachments, Data Sheets & Permits by Default" option checked in the Work Order Defaults, the Print Options window will check the Data Sheets, Attachments and Permits options on.

  5. Choose whether you want to include the Comments, Data Sheets, Attachments, Permits or Second Page of the work order. Click the Print button.

    OR

    If you don't wish to print the work order at this point, you can click the Bypass button. The Bypass button will only be available if you have the "Bypass Printing Allowed" option checked in the Work Order Defaults.

To print a work order from the Work Order History Browse Window:

  1. Open the Work Order History Browse Window

  2. Highlight the work order or orders you wish to print.

  3. Select Print from the History menu

    OR

    Choose Print from the popup menu

    OR

    Click the Print toolbar button.

  4. Pinnacle will display the Print Options window for the work order. You can choose whether to also print the Comments, Data Sheets, Attachments, Permits or Second Page of the work order. If the work order doesn't have any of these, the option to print them will be disabled. If you have the "Print MWA Attachments, Data Sheets & Permits by Default" option checked in the Work Order Defaults, the Print Options window will check the Data Sheets, Attachments and Permits options on.

  5. Choose whether you want to include the Comments, Data Sheets, Attachments, Permits or Second Page of the work order. Click the Print button.

    OR

    If you don't wish to print the work order at this point, you can click the Bypass button. The Bypass button will only be available if you have the "Bypass Printing Allowed" option checked in the Work Order Defaults.

To print a work order from the Work Order Overdue Browse Window:

  1. Open the Work Order Overdue Browse Window

  2. Highlight the work order or orders you wish to print.

  3. Select Print from the Overdue menu

    OR

    Choose Print from the popup menu

    OR

    Click the Print toolbar button.

  4. Pinnacle will display the Print Options window for the work order. You can choose whether to also print the Comments, Data Sheets, Attachments, Permits or Second Page of the work order. If the work order doesn't have any of these, the option to print them will be disabled.
