The Details tab describes all of the basic information about a Schedule. Once a Schedule's status has changed from "Draft", you cannot edit any fields on the Details tab.
The Schedule Details tab shows the following information about a Schedule:
Schedule Number - A unique identifier for the Schedule. This is a system generated field and is not editable.
Status - This is the status of the schedule, either Draft, Released, Finalised or Cancelled.
Start Date - The starting date of the period that the Schedule is to cover. This field is only editable when the Schedule Status is Draft. You must enter a start date for the schedule.
End Date - The ending date of the period that the Schedule is to cover. This field is only editable when the Schedule Status is Draft. You must enter an end date for the schedule.
Created By - The person who created the Schedule. The system will set this field to the user ID of the user who created the schedule. This field is not editable.
Created On - The date and time that the Schedule was created. The system will set this to the date and time that the schedule was created. This field is not editable.
Schedule Name - You can enter a name for the schedule to help identify it.
Comments - You can enter any comments you like about the schedule.
Schedule Allocation - You can enter a budget amount for the entire schedule. This is useful if you are using schedules as projects and want to set up project budget amounts.
The system also displays some summary details about the schedule. These details are for display only. The schedule summary details are:
Number of MWAs - This is the number of work orders attached to the schedule.
Estimated Labour Cost - This is the total estimated labour cost for all work orders attached to the schedule.
Estimated Material Cost - This is the total estimated material cost for all work orders attached to the schedule.
Estimated Miscellaneous Cost - This is the total estimated miscellaneous cost for all work orders attached to the schedule.
Total Estimated Cost - This is the Estimated Labour Cost plus the Estimated Material Cost plus the Estimated Miscellaneous Cost.
Actual Expenditure - This is the total of actual expenditure for all work orders attached to the schedule.
Outstanding Balance - This is the Schedule Allocation minus the Actual Expenditure.
