The Contract Skill Rates table allows you to define different rates that skills are to be charged at when they are used for a contract. You can choose the contract that you want to set the rates for. Then you can select a skill from the skills that have been assigned to the contract from the Skills tab on the Contract window. You can then choose the rate type for the skill, and then set the actual rate that you want to apply for the skill against the contract when the chosen rate type is used.
You can enter the following information for a contract skill rate:
Contract ID - This is the ID of the contract that you want to set the skill rates for. You must select a contract from the list of contracts that have been set up in the Contract Module.
Rate Type - This is the type of rate that you want to set the skill rate for. You must select a rate from the list of rates that have been defined in the Rate Types table.
Skill Code - This is the skill that you want to set the rate for. You must select a skill from the list of skills that have been defined in the Skills table, that have been attached to the contract. Pinnacle will display the skill description for the skill.
Skill Rate - This is the amount to charge per hour for this skill, for the selected rate, when using the chosen contract.
Start Date - This is the date from which the rate is to apply. You must enter a start date for the skill rate.
