You use the ownerships to record who is financially responsible for an asset or to indicate which program an asset belongs to for financial reporting purposes.
You can change the name of this lookup table in the Asset Module Defaults in the Administration Module if the word "Ownership" does not define the responsibility grouping for your purpose.
You can enter the following information about an ownership:
Ownership Code - You use the ownership code to identify each ownership. You must enter an ownership code for each ownership, and each code must be unique.
Description - The description is used to describe the ownership. You must enter a description for each ownership, and each description must be unique.
