Categories are used to broadly define groups of asset types. For example, you can use "Computer" to indicate computer equipment, or "Furn." to indicate furniture.
You can enter the following information about a category:
Category - This is the category code that you wish to use to identify the category. You must enter a category, and the category must be unique.
Description - This is the full description of the category. You must enter a category description.
