Run the Asset Module.
Choose Loans from the Asset menu.
Pinnacle will display the Asset Loans window.
Select Add from the File menu

Click the Add button on the toolbar.
Pinnacle will change to the Details tab and will add a new loan reservation for you to begin entering details.
Choose a staff/non-supplier as the loanee. If the loan has any cost involved, you can specify the cost of the loan, either Fixed Cost, or Rate for a period of time.
If there is no cost involved with the loan, you can specify the cost as None.
Type in the starting date and time for the loan. This will default to 8.30am on the current date.
Type in the ending date for the loan. This will default to 5.30pm on the current date.
Once the starting and ending dates are entered, Pinnacle will display all the loanable assets that are available during the specified period. You can also apply a filter to this list of assets to further narrow down the assets that you wish to loan.
Highlight the assets that you want to include on the loan.
Choose Save from the File menu
OR
Choose Save from the popup menu
OR
Click the Save toolbar button.
For each asset selected on the loan reservation, Pinnacle will add a reservation item. Each reservation item is then displayed individually on the loan Browse tab. This allows you to cancel individual loan items, or return some items without returning all items.
If you add a reservation for an asset and that asset is linked to other assets, the system will display a dialog box asking you what action you wish to take with regards to the linked assets.
If you select Unlink, the system will unlink the asset from all other assets, and will then add it to the reservation.
If you select Loan All, the system will add reservation items to this reservation for all the assets linked to the selected asset.
If you select Skip, the system will simply skip this asset, and will not add a reservation item for the asset. If the asset was the only asset selected, the system will not automatically save the reservation.
