You may have a filter set which is stopping some items from being displayed. If a filter is set for the browse window, the words "Filter Set" will appear in the title bar of the browse window.
The Browse window may also have an option to show or hide completed, or cancelled items. Check the Defaults window for the module to see if there are options to show or hide certain types of items in the browse window.
