Security Groups are used to organise your user IDs into groups so that you can assign common access rights to users.
When you assign an access right to a Security Group, any user that belongs to that group then has the rights to perform that function. Also, if you assign an access code to a Security Group, any user that belongs to the group can then see the Assets, Budget Codes, Contracts or Properties that have that Access Code.
