The Index Locations table is used to help identify the location of an index when the index is created. Your locations might be as broad as a state within the country, for example "South Australia" or "Tasmania". Or your location might be more regional, such as "Hunter Valley, NSW", or "North Sydney". The Index Locations table is just a list of the possible locations that can be used for an index.
You can enter the following information about an index location:
Index Location Description - This is a description of the index location. You must enter a description, and the description and country combination must be unique.
Country - The country for the index location. You must enter a country, and the country and description combination must be unique.
Country Abbreviation - The abbreviation for the country of the index location.
