Lease Insurance Tab

The Insurance tab allows you to record the details of any relevant insurance polices that are required for the lease.

The Insurance tab is divided into two sections.  The top section of the tab is a summary list of all the insurance policies that have been added to the lease.  The bottom section is the full details of the insurance policy that is highlighted in the browse section. The fields available on the Insurance tab are:

Policy Number - This is the policy number of the insurance policy.  You must enter a policy number, and the policy number must be unique.

Company Name - This is the name of the company that holds the insurance policy.  You must enter a company name.

Insurance Type - This is the type of insurance policy.  You must select a type from the list of insurance types that have been added to the Insurance Types table.

Start Date - This is the start date of the insurance policy. You must enter a start date.

Expiry Date - This is the expiry date of the insurance policy.  You must enter an expiry date, and the expiry date must be on or after the policy start date.

Policy Amount - This is the amount of insurance that the policy covers.

Liability Amount - This is the liability amount that the policy covers, if any.

Policy Details - This allows you to record any other details about the insurance policy.
