Event notification is a feature in Pinnacle where you can be automatically notified when certain events are about to take place. The events that Pinnacle will notify you of are:
Maintenance contracts that are about to expire
Maintenance contracts that have expired
Loan issues that are overdue
Loan receipts that are overdue
Software licence quota exceeded
Supplier insurance that is about to expire
Supplier insurance that has expired
You can choose whether you want automatic event notification, where every time you enter the Assets module the Event Notification window will be opened. If you do not want automatic event notification, you can open the Event Notification window yourself from the File menu in the Assets Module.
