Adding a Work Order for a Property Asset or an Equipment Asset

Property Assets and Equipment Assets frequently need work orders created. If you are in the Asset Module, you can add a work order for a Property asset or an Equipment asset from the Asset Module.

To add a work order for a Property Asset or Equipment Asset from the Asset Tree Browse Window:

1. Open the Asset Tree Browse window

2. Highlight the property asset or equipment asset in the Asset Tree Browse window.

3. Select MWA from the Asset menu

   OR

   Choose MWA from the popup menu

   OR

   Click the Raise MWA toolbar button.

   Pinnacle will open the Work Order Module, and will add a new blank work order in the Backlog list. If you created the work order for a property asset, Pinnacle will automatically set the Asset number for the work order to the asset number of the property asset, and the Location for the work order to the location of the property asset that was selected when the work order was created. If you created the work order for an equipment asset, Pinnacle will automatically set the Asset number for the work order to the asset number of the equipment asset.

4. Type in the work order details.

5. Select Save from the Backlog menu

   OR

   Choose Save from the popup menu

   OR

   Click the Save toolbar button.

2. Highlight the property asset or equipment asset in the Asset Browse window.

3. Select MWA from the Asset menu

   OR

   Choose MWA from the popup menu

   OR
