Adding a PM Template for a Property Asset or an Equipment Asset

Property Assets and Equipment Assets may need Planned Maintenance Templates created. If you are in the Asset Module, you can add a PM Template for a Property asset or an Equipment asset from the Asset Module.

To add a Template for a Property Asset or Equipment Asset from the Asset Tree Browse Window:

1. Open the Asset Tree Browse window

2. Highlight the property asset or equipment asset in the Asset Tree Browse window.

3. Select New Template from the Asset menu

   OR

   Choose New Template from the popup menu

   OR

   Click the Raise Template toolbar button.

   Pinnacle will open the Work Order Module, and will add a new blank template in the Template list. If you created the template for a property asset, Pinnacle will automatically set the Asset number for the template to the asset number of the property asset, and the Location for the template to the location of the property asset that was selected when the template was created. If you created the template for an equipment asset, Pinnacle will automatically set the Asset number for the template to the asset number of the equipment asset.

4. Type in the template details.

5. Select Save from the Templates menu

   OR

   Choose Save from the popup menu

   OR

   Click the Save toolbar button.
