Pinnacle uses coloured fields to help you understand what fields are required fields, what fields are editable and not editable.
Pinnacle field labels are normally displayed as black text on the grey window background. The field itself is displayed as black text on a white background if the field is editable.
Editable Field
If the field is a required field, the field label is displayed as dark red.
Required Field
If the field is not editable (either because of access rights, because of the status of the record, or other reasons) then the field is displayed with a grey background, instead of a white background.
