Because Pinnacle can contain sensitive financial data, it is important to be able to track changes that are made to all areas of Pinnacle.
Pinnacle keeps a comprehensive audit trail of every addition, modification and deletion of data in the system. The audit trail keeps track of what change was made, which user made the changes, and the date and time that the change was made. Where possible, it also identifies what data was changed.
You can then run reports to view the audit trail. This will help you identify what was done to the Pinnacle data, and when.
If Pinnacle is being used very actively, the audit trail will grow quite large in a short period of time. When you run the audit report you can choose to archive it.
