The Details tab shows all the main information about a Job Request. The following information is displayed about a job request:
Request No - This is the Job Request number that is assigned to this job request.
Requestor Name - This is the name of the person submitting the job request. The name is taken from the name field in the Staff & Non-suppliers table for the current login ID.
E-mail Address - This is the e-mail address of the person submitting the job request.
Phone - This is the contact phone number for the person submitting the job request.
Section - This is the section for the person submitting the job request. This is taken from the Staff & Non-suppliers table for the current login ID.
Institution - This is the institution of the person submitting the job request.
Status - This is the current status of the job request. Job Request status can be Registered, Generated, or Finalised. The Status is set automatically, and you cannot edit it.
Submitted On - This is the date and time that the Job Request was submitted into Pinnacle.
Fax - This is the fax number of the person submitting the job request. This is taken from the Staff & Non-suppliers table for the current login ID.
Authorising Expenditure - This is used to indicate that the user submitting the request has authorised the required work, up to specified amount.
Up To Limit - This is the upper limit of expenditure that can be authorised. If the cost of the job exceeds this amount, the maintenance staff should contact the submitter to gain approval.
Budget Code - This is the budget code that expenditure for the Job Request is to be posted to.
Priority - This is the priority of the job request.
Job Reason - This is the reason that the job request was submitted.
Location - This is the Pinnacle location for the job request.
Predefined Task - You can select a predefined task for the Job Request. This will become a work order task if you create a work order from the Job Request.
Request Details - This is a detailed description of the work that is being requested.
Authorised By - This is login ID of the user who is authorising the work.
Required By - This is the date and time by which the job request is required to be completed.
Reference Code - This field can be used as an internal reference number if required.
Submit To - This is the name of the Pinnacle user to whom the Job Request is to be submitted. You can use this to direct your request to a particular maintenance staff member if you wish, for example, the maintenance staff monitoring the incoming requests can set up their system to look for specific job requests based on those submitted directly to themselves.
Section - You can use this to direct your request to a particular maintenance section if you wish.
Institution - You can use this to direct your request to a particular maintenance section if you wish.
Barcode - If the job request relates to a specific piece of equipment or an asset, you can enter the barcode number that is recorded on the equipment or asset here. This makes it easier for the maintenance staff to identify the equipment or asset within Pinnacle.
MWA No - If you have created a work order from the Job Request, this is the number of the work order.
You can select an Equipment Asset for the Job Request by clicking the button next to the Barcode field. This displays a window containing equipment assets. You can choose to display equipment assets that are in the exact location specified by the job request, or equipment assets that are in a location below the job request location in the hierarchy.
You can only select equipment assets that have a barcode number. Once you have selected the equipment asset, click the OK button, and the barcode number of the equipment asset will be inserted into the Barcode field on the Job Request.
