The Cache Statistics window shows a list of cached objects, and some statistics for the object. These statistics can help you determine which objects would most benefit from pre-loading in Pinnacle. Pre-loading settings should not be modified unless you are asked to do so by your support provider.
The Cache Statistics window shows the following fields:
Cached Object - The system name of the cached object. The cached objects are objects used in Pinnacle to display the data from the underlying database.
Hits - This is the number of times that the data object has been accessed during the current session of Pinnacle.
Current References - This is the number of references to the cached object by Pinnacle.
Rows - This is the number of rows in the data object. This can help you determine whether the data object needs to be pre-loaded. If there are only a small number of rows, then the data object would be quick to load when running Pinnacle, and so might not need to be pre-loaded.
Hits * Rows - This is the number of hits multiplied by the number of rows. This can also help you determine if a data object needs to be pre-loaded. If the table has only a few rows but it is being referenced constantly, it might be beneficial to pre-load the data object.
