Adding a Work Order for a Contract

Work orders can only be added to a contract when the status of the contract is "Contract Let", or "In Progress".

To add a work order for a Contract from the Contract Browse Window:

  1. Open the Contract Browse window.

  2. Highlight the contract that you want to add a work order for.

  3. Choose New MWA from the Contract menu

    OR

    Choose New MWA from the popup menu

    Pinnacle will open the Work Order module, and will add a new blank work order in the Backlog list. Pinnacle will automatically set the Contract ID for the work order to the contract that was selected when the work order was created.

  4. Type in the work order details.

  5. Choose Save from the Backlog menu

    OR

    Choose Save from the popup menu

    OR

    Click the Save toolbar button.

To add a work order for a Contract from the Contract Window:

  1. Open the contract that you want to add a work order for.

  2. Choose New MWA from the File menu
