Once all the work has been done for a work order, it has been completed, and all invoices have been entered against the work order, you should finalise the work order. Finalising a work order removes it from the Backlog and places it on the History list.
Once the work order has been finalised, you cannot print Service Request Forms for that work order anymore.
Open the Work Order Backlog Browse Window
Highlight the work order you wish to finalise.
Select Finalise from the Backlog menu
OR
Choose Finalise from the popup menu
OR
Click the Finalise toolbar button.
Confirm that you want to finalise the work order.
Pinnacle will check that the work order can be finalised, and will change the status of the work order to Finalised. If there is any reason that the work order cannot be finalised, an error message will be displayed to explain the reasons.

Highlight the work order you wish to finalise.
Select Finalise from the Overdue menu

Click the Finalise toolbar button.
