Adding a New Work Order

To add a new Work Order from the Work Order Backlog Browse Window:

  1. Open the Work Order Backlog Browse Window

  2. Choose New from the Backlog menu

    OR

    Choose New from the popup menu

    OR

    Click the New toolbar button

    Pinnacle will open the Work Order Details window, and will add a new blank work order for you.


  3. Follow the
    Pre-dispatch process for entering the work order details.

  4. Choose Save from the Backlog menu

    OR

    Choose Save from the popup menu

    OR

    Click the Save toolbar button.

  5. Follow the Dispatch process to dispatch a work order.

To add a new work order from the Work Order Window:

  1. Open a Work Order Window.

  2. Choose New from the Backlog menu

    OR

    Choose New from the popup menu

    OR

    Click the New toolbar button

    Pinnacle will add a new blank work order for you.


  3. Follow the
    Pre-dispatch process for entering the work order details.

  4. Choose Save from the Backlog menu

    OR

    Choose Save from the popup menu

    OR

    Click the Save toolbar button.

  5. Follow the Dispatch process to dispatch a work order.

To add a new work order from the Work Order Module Window:

  1. Open the Work Order Module

  2. Choose New from the WO menu

    OR

    Click the New toolbar button

    Pinnacle will open the Work Order Details window, and will add a new blank work order for you.


  3. Follow the
    Pre-dispatch process for entering the work order details.

  4. Choose Save from the Backlog menu

    OR

    Choose Save from the popup menu

    OR

    Click the Save toolbar button.

  5. Follow the Dispatch process to dispatch a work order.
