Finding a Planned Maintenance Template

There are many ways you can look for a template using the browse windows, but you may want a quick method of finding a template. If you know the template number you can find the template quickly. Or you may want to find all the templates that have a certain attribute, or value for an attribute. You can use the Find Template option to find your templates quickly.

To find a Planned Maintenance Template:

  1. Open the Work Order Module

  2. Choose Find Template from the MWA menu

    Pinnacle will display a dialog box that will let you decide how you want to find the template.

  3. If you want to find the template based on it's number, click the Template No radio button, and type the Template Number into the adjoining field.

    OR

    If you want to find the template based on an attachment, click the Attachment radio button, and type the name of the attachment into the adjoining field

    OR

    If you want to find the template based on an attribute, click the Attribute radio button, and choose the attribute from the drop-down list of attributes.

    OR

    If you want to find the template based on an attribute value, click the Attribute radio button, choose the attribute from the drop-down list of attributes, and type the attribute value that you want to find in the Attribute Value field. If the attribute is a pre-defined attribute, you can select an attribute value from the list of pre-defined attributes values for the attribute.

  4. Click the OK button.

    Pinnacle will search for and display the first template that matches the Find criteria that you have chosen. If no template can be found that matches your selections, Pinnacle will display an error message.
