When you need to notify contractors about work that is required by work orders, Pinnacle can help you raise SRFs (Service Request Forms) which detail the work required. SRFs need to be certified and authorised by appropriate staff members before the SRF is faxed directly to the contractor. Because you may required different staff members to certify and authorise SRFs based on the amount of money required for the SRF, you can set up delegation levels for certifying and authorising.
For example, a user with a delegation level that allows them to certify up to $1000 can certify SRFs up to, but not exceeding, $1000 in value.
The Delegation Levels table has several different tabs for recording information delegation levels. The tabs are: Certification, and Authorisation.
The Certification tab allows you to define the delegation levels for certifying SRFs. You can enter the following information about a certification delegation level:
Delegation Description - This is a description of the certification level. You must enter a delegation description, and the description must be unique within the certification descriptions.
Limit - This is the amount of money that is the upper limit that a staff member with this level of delegation can certify.
The Authorisation tab allows you to define the delegation levels for authorising SRFs. You can enter the following information about an authorisation delegation level:
Delegation Description - This is a description of the authorisation level. You must enter a delegation description, and the description must be unique within the authorisation descriptions.
Limit - This is the amount of money that is the upper limit that a staff member with this level of delegation can authorise.
