The Pinnacle Stock module can use electronic barcode reading equipment to perform a Stock stocktake. Stocktaking is used to record the quantity of stock items in a location, verify that these quantities match the quantities held in the Stock module, and report any differences.
Pinnacle operates in conjunction with a variety of barcode readers. The purpose of the barcode reader is to record the quantity of the stock item at a location, and then transfer this information back to Pinnacle. Pinnacle can then compare the quantity of stock found to the expected quantity of stock, and report on any exceptions.
