Automatically Completing a Stock Request

To complete a stock request, you would issue each stock for each item on the stock request. When all items have no more stock outstanding, the request is completed.

You can have Pinnacle automatically add all the required issues to requests, thus completing the request.

To automatically complete a request from the Stock Request Browse Window:

  1. Run the Stock Module.

  2. Open the Stock Request Browse Window.

  3. Highlight the stock request or requests that you wish to complete.

  4. Choose Complete Requests... from the Requests menu.

  5. Confirm that you want to complete the requests.

    Pinnacle will check which items on the requests still have outstanding stock. Pinnacle will then check that the stock items have a preferred location, and that the preferred location has enough stock available to meet the issue. If these conditions are met, Pinnacle will automatically add an issue to the stock request for the stock item. A progress window will show the progress of the operation.

  6. When all issues are done and the stock requests are completed, Pinnacle will display a confirmation message.
