The purchase orders are used to order stock items. You can enter multiple different stock items on a single purchase order, and receive many different deliveries against a purchase order. The purchase orders can be printed and sent to suppliers to order stock.
The cost of the stock item against the purchase order is also used to calculate the current market price for a stock item.
