Adding a Purchase Order Line Item

Once you have added a purchase order you can add line items for the purchase order. The line items record exactly what stock items are expected, in what quantity, and how much it will cost.

To add purchase order line item:

  1. Open the purchase order you want to add a line item for.

  2. Select Add Line Item from the Orders menu when the Purchase Order Details tab is active

    OR

    Select New from the Orders menu when the Purchase Order Items tab is active

    OR

    Click the New button on the toolbar when the Purchase Order Items tab is active.

    The system will make the Items tab the active tab (if it is not already the active tab) and will add a new line item for you to begin entering line item details.

  3. Enter the Line Item details.

  4. Choose Save from the Orders menu

    Choose Save from the popup menu

    OR

    Click the Save toolbar button.
