There are many ways you can look for a property using the browse windows, or the tree browse windows, but you may want a quick method of finding a property. If you know the property's full location code you can find the property quickly. Or you may want to find all the properties that have a certain attribute, or value for an attribute. You can use the Find Property option to find your properties quickly.
Open the Property Module
Choose Find from the Property menu

Click the Find Property toolbar button
Pinnacle will display a dialog box that will let you decide how you want to find the property.
If you want to find the property based on its abbreviation, click the Abbreviation radio button, and type the abbreviation into the adjoining field.
OR
If you want to find the property based on its full location code, click the Full Location radio button, and type the full location code into the adjoining field.
OR
If you want to find the property based on an attachment, click the Attachment radio button, and type the name of the attachment into the adjoining field
OR
If you want to find the property based on an attribute, click the Attribute radio button, and choose the attribute from the drop-down list of attributes.
OR
If you want to find the property based on an attribute value, click the Attribute radio button, choose the attribute from the drop-down list of attributes, and type the attribute value that you want to find in the Attribute Value field. If the attribute is a pre-defined attribute, you can select an attribute value from the list of pre-defined attributes values for the attribute.
Click the OK button.
Pinnacle will search for and display the first property that matches the Find criteria that you have chosen. If more than one property meets the Find criteria, Pinnacle will display a list of matching properties for you to choose from. If no property can be found that matches your selections, Pinnacle will display an error message.
