Displaying Drawings for a Property

Pinnacle can link to a CAD (Computer Assisted Design) package to show you detailed drawings of your assets or properties. You can specify the CAD drawing file for a property, and you can then use a CAD program to display the drawing files for the property.

On the Property Window, you can select the CAD drawing file that represents a property on the Details tab.

To display a drawing for a property from the Property Tree Browse Window:

1. Open the Property Tree Browse Window

2. Highlight the Property that you want to view the drawings for.

3. Select View Drawing from the File menu

   OR

   Choose View Drawing from the popup menu

To display a drawing for a property from the Level Browse Window:

1. Open the Level Browse Window

2. Highlight the Property you want to display drawings for.

3. Select View Drawing from the File menu

   OR

   Choose View Drawing from the popup menu

To display a drawing for a property from the Property Window:

1. Open the property that you want to display the drawing for.

2. Click the "V" button next to the CAD file name.
