Custom Reports

If the reports in Pinnacle do not meet all your requirements, it is possible to have custom reports written, or write them yourself using Sybase Infomaker©. Once you have a report library with your reports, you can view these reports from within Pinnacle.

To view an Infomaker custom report:

1. Choose the Custom Report option from the Reports menu.

2. Choose the library to use and click the OK button.

3. Choose the report you want to run, and click the OK button.

Pinnacle will then run your custom report, and will display the results in a normal report window. You can then sort, zoom, display rulers, and do almost anything else that you could normally do with a Pinnacle report.

You are also able to use any third party report writing tool, such as Crystal Reports, that can access the Pinnacle database to write custom reports.

 To view other custom reports:

1. Choose the Custom Report option from the Reports menu.

2. Change the "Files of Type" drop down list to "All Files".

3. Choose the report file to use and click the OK button.

   Pinnacle will pass control to the program that the report was written in, and you can use the features of that program to view, zoom and print the report.
