The Bids tab displays all the bids that have been made for this budget code. Bids are estimates of the amount of money you expect to spend against the budget code for the coming financial year.
The most recently added bid is shown at the top of the list of bids, but you can resort the list if you wish. Once you have added a bid, you cannot edit it or delete it. If you wish to change the bid amount, you must enter a new bid. When a bid has been added, the Details tab will reflect the bid amount in the Next Year's Bid field.
You can enter the following information about a bid:
Year - This is the financial year for the bid. This defaults to the next financial year as defined in the Year Maintenance table. You cannot edit the financial year.
Date Added - This is the date that the bid was added. This defaults to the current date and time when the bid is added, and cannot be edited.
Amount - This is the amount of the bid. You must enter a bid amount.
Description - This is the description of the bid. You must enter a description for each bid.
By - This is the user ID of the person who added the bid. This defaults to the current user ID when the bid is added, and cannot be edited.
