The Data Capture Exceptions report will show any exceptions that have occurred after the data capture process has been completed. The report shows the following exception types:
Scanned barcode already exists
An invalid location code was entered during data capture
An invalid condition rating was entered during data capture
An invalid asset class was entered during data capture
An invalid asset type was entered during data capture
An invalid asset description was entered during data capture
An invalid ownership was entered during data capture
An invalid user status was entered during data capture
An invalid access code was entered during data capture
An invalid linked to was entered during data capture
Where the linked to was a child asset already
An invalid criticality was entered during data capture
An invalid supplier was entered during data capture
An invalid acquisition type was entered during data capture
An invalid staff member was entered during data capture
An invalid section was entered during data capture
An invalid institution was entered during data capture
An invalid issue type was entered during data capture
An invalid parts supplier was entered during data capture
An invalid labour supplier was entered during data capture
Where the staff member entered was not current
Assets where, for some reason, a barcode was not entered
Run the Assets Module.
Choose Interface>Exceptions>Data Capture from the Reports menu option.
Select the parameters for the report (if any). Click the OK button on the report parameter window to run the report.
