Asset Tracking is a process in Pinnacle that allows you to use a barcode reader or Personal Data Assistant (PDA) to track the movement of assets from one location to another.
The location information is downloaded to the barcode reader/PDA, and then the assets are recorded on the barcode reader along with their new location. The movement information is then uploaded to Pinnacle, where the asset locations are updated, and movement history entries added for the assets.
