The Spares tab displays stock items that are required to repair the asset when a work order is raised for the asset. This tab is only available for Equipment assets.
The fields available on the Spares tab are:
Stock ID - This is the stock ID of the stock item required to repair the asset. You must select a stock ID from the list of stock items set up as material items in the Stock Module.
Stock Description - This is the description of the stock ID. Pinnacle will automatically fill in the stock description when you select a stock item. You cannot edit the stock description.
Stock Category - This is the category for the stock item. Pinnacle will automatically fill in the stock category when you select a stock item. You cannot edit the stock category.
Quantity Required - This is the quantity of the stock item required to repair the asset.
