Pinnacle has some system defined status codes that are used to describe things such as the status of an asset, for example "New" or "Repair". These statuses are defined by the Pinnacle, and you cannot alter them.
The list of asset statuses defined by Pinnacle, and their Out of Service flags are:

You can however, define statuses of your own. These are additional to the system statuses, but you can use them to record any other statuses that are not covered by the system. For each status that you define, you can also specify whether an asset which is given this status is out of service or not.
You can also use these statuses when raising work orders.
You can enter the following information about a status:
Description - This is the description of the asset status. You use this to describe the status, for example "Broken" or "Reactivated". You must enter a description for the status and the description must be unique.
Out of Service - This is a flag for you to indicate whether an asset is out of service when it has this status.
