In addition to the access rights, which restrict a user's ability to perform certain functions, you can also restrict a user's rights to access assets, contracts, and properties in Pinnacle. For example, if you have a certain group of assets that should only be edited by a certain group of people, you can apply this restriction using Access Codes.
You can set up Access Codes in the Pinnacle Administration module, and then assign these access codes to security groups in the same way as you assign access rights to a security group. If an asset, contract or property has been assigned that access code, only users who are members of the appropriate security group will be able to see that object in Pinnacle.
