If you need to add a new work order that is very similar to an existing work order, you can clone the existing work order to save re-keying of data. When you clone a work order, most of the field contents are copied from the existing work order to the new work order. The fields that are NOT cloned are: Created From, and Schedule Number.
Open the work order that you wish to clone.
Select Clone from the Backlog menu.
OR
Choose Clone from the popup menu.
Pinnacle will add a new work order with the same details as the work order you selected. You can then modify any details on the new work order to meet your requirements.
