When you raise a work order or add a template, you can choose an Equipment asset for the Work Order/Template.
Run the Work Order Module
Add a new work order.
Select a Location for the work order.
Next to the Asset Number field, click the Extension button (...).
Pinnacle will display a list of equipment assets. At the bottom of the window are two radio buttons that allow you to choose whether you want to view equipment assets that are in the exact location that you selected, or whether you want to view assets that are in a location where the location code starts with the selected location code.
Choose an Equipment asset from the list.
Click the OK button.
Pinnacle will set the Equipment asset as the asset for the work order, and will fill in the Asset information on the Work Order Details tab.
